Jonathan Bishop is a resident of Essex Massachusetts. He is currently putting together a book containing photographs and stories based off interviews with residents who have a spiritual tie to the community.

His photographs are based on nature but often contain multiple images nested within.

He divides his time between pure nature photography and manipulating images rooted out of nature, often getting into out of the way places that are seldem seen. Painting, sketching, and photographing natures complexity in its purist form.
